Child Dedication

Children are a gift from the Lord, and all good and perfect gifts come from Him above. Dedication of a child is a ceremony in which parents or guardians who are followers of Christ make a commitment before God and those witnessing the ceremony to raise the child according to God's Word. 

This ceremony is normally performed during a Sunday morning worship service. It is the prayer and goal of both the parents and the church that the child being dedicated will come to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ at a very early age and will continue to grow as a disciple of Jesus all the days of his/her earthly life. 

Child dedication is not baptism and does not guarantee a child’s salvation. However, it is a public declaration that your child belongs to God, and you are publicly making a commitment to raise your child to love, honor, respect, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. 

If you would like to have your child(ren) dedicated on the upcoming Dedication day, please sign up by 12 noon on the Thursday before the dedication date so we have everything ready for them.
